We stand at the dawn of a new age, ready to move farther into space and perhaps inhabit other planets.

The chief duty of every new age is to upraise new men to determine its liberties, to lead it towards material success - to rend the rusty padlocks and chains of dead custom that always prevent healthy expansion.

Traditional moral codes and newer irrational cults both fail to meet the pressing needs of today and tomorrow. False "theologies of hope" and messianic ideologies substituting new dogmas for old, cannot cope with existing world realities.

Theories and ideas that have meant life and hope and freedom for our ancestors may now mean destruction, slavery and dishonor to us! Cursed are the gazers toward a richer life beyond the grave, for they shall perish amidst plenty. Blessed are the destroyers of false hope, for they are the true messiahs. Cursed are the god-adorers for they shall be shorn sheep.

We believe that traditional dogmatic or authoritarian religions that place revelation, God, ritual or creed above human needs and experience do a disservice to the human species. As non-theists, we begin with humans not God, nature not deity. While there is much we do not know, humans are responsible for what we are or will become. No deity will save us; we must save ourselves.

There is nothing inherently sacred about moral codes. Like the wooden idols of long ago, they are the work of human hands and what man has made, man can destroy!

We reject all religious, ideological or moral codes that denigrate the individual, suppress freedom, dull intellect, dehumanize personality. In the area of sexuality, we believe that intolerant attitudes, often cultivated by orthodox religions and puritanical cultures, unduly repress sexual conduct. The right to birth control, abortion and divorce should be recognized. It also includes a recognition of an individuals right to die with dignity, euthanasia and the right to suicide.

No creed must be accepted upon authority of a "divine" nature. Religions must be put to the question. No moral dogma must be taken for granted - no standard of measurement deified.

Alienating forces should be modified or eradicated and bureaucratic structures should be kept to a minimum. The separation of church and state and the separation of ideology and state are imperatives. The state should encourage maximum freedom for different moral, political, religious and social values in society.

Let established sophisms be dethroned, rooted out, burnt and destroyed, for they are a standing menace to all true nobility of thought and action. Popular lies have ever been the most potent enemies of personal liberty. There is only one way to deal with them: cut them out to the very core, just as cancers. Exterminate them root and branch. Annihilate them or they will us!

We have reached a turning point in human history where the best option is to transcend the limits of national sovereignty and to move toward the building of a world community in which all sectors to the human family can participate. These are the times for men and women of good will to further the building of a peaceful and prosperous world. We urge that parochial loyalties and inflexible moral and religious ideologies be transcended.

Blessed are the strong for they shall inherit the earth. Cursed are the weak for they will inherit the yoke! Blessed are the powerful, for they shall be reverenced among men. Cursed are the feeble for they shall be blotted out! Blessed are the bold for they shall be masters to the world. Cursed are the righteously humble, for they shall be trodden under cloven hoofs! Blessed are the victorious, for victory is the basis of right. Cursed are the vanquished, for they shall be vassals forever!

HOLY BIBLE

Psalm 2
|
"Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord of Hosts and against His anointed saying, 'Let us break their bonds apart and cast their cords from us.' He who sits in the heavens will laugh. The Lord will have them in derision. Then He will speak to them in His anger, and terrify them in His wrath."
"Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion." I will tell of the decree. The Lord said to Me, "You are My Son. Today I have become Your Father. Ask of Me and I will give the nations for Your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
"Now therefore be wise, you kings. Be instructed you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Give sincere homage to the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath will soon be kindled."
"Blessed are all those who take refuge in the Lord!"
